• No bloom pass — overlapping light is bright on its own, for free.
• No textures, no models, no asset pipeline — every chart is grown from maths, so nothing loads or streams.
• No 3D-text engine — labels ride a synced 2D overlay.
• No deferred lighting, no scene graph, no quality presets — a few per-pixel lights, re-declared each frame.
