Each channel moves in exactly one direction.
the three channels
Identity never moves. How completely the looking is accounted for only ever drains. Visibility only ever fills, and approaches one without arriving. There is no operation that merges two identities into a third, because there was never a way to write one.
held · counted, and counted in public
One universe, one map, nine worlds — and we can tell you what each is made of.
what the engine is made of
One universe that ends by beginning. One map that holds a journey too long to see. Nine universes wearing their prompts like names. The engine drew every one of them from a shape and our own arithmetic, nothing pre-rendered.
Where it reaches for published mathematics, it builds it here rather than importing a solution — and it counts what it owes in the open. Our own register of that debt stands at 19 techniques a law of ours could one day own, 3 where our own law is already what ships, and 23 pieces of generic apparatus that are nobody's property. That page is derived from the engine's own imports every time it is built, and it fails the build when it goes stale.
A debt is not a sin, and the count is the point: naming 19 things you could have done yourself is a harder claim to make than saying there are none. That is the whole pitch — give a shape to the code, and the code gives you back the cosmos that fits it.
This paragraph replaced an earlier one that said “no imported solver, no third-party maths”. It was true of the ambition and not of the tree, and the instrument that showed the difference did not exist when it was written. Kept visible rather than quietly corrected, because a house that publishes its refutations should publish this one too.
