QBism · the sharpest rival
Quantum Bayesianism goes furthest of all. In its telling, the quantum state is not a fact about the world but a bet a single observer holds, and the outcome is created at the crossing, not disclosed. That cuts straight against our founding premise — a dark that holds before observation — which is exactly why it gets a full scene rather than a footnote.
So we did the respectful thing: we built its heart ourselves. Its favourite measurement is four states spread as evenly as four directions can be — we constructed them from scratch, in our own code, and they interlock exactly as the theory promises. Then we took QBism’s own rewriting of quantum theory’s central rule and checked it against the textbook original: they agree to the last digit the machine can hold. It cannot be dismissed on predictions, because it shares every prediction. A rival this good sharpens you or nobody does.
And here is what the trial taught us. Even in QBism’s private world, one thing is not private: the rule itself — the same law binding every observer, before any look. And the perfect four-cornered geometry it wants in every setting remains, to this day, an open conjecture. Read from our side of the table, that is the seam declining to be private all the way down: strip everything else away, and something shared still stands.

Every observer has their own horizon — and every horizon has the same width.

Stand anywhere in an expanding universe and a horizon surrounds you — yours, centred on you, moving when you move. No two observers share one. That much sounds like QBism: the view is private. But every one of those private horizons has the same radius. The place is yours alone; the width belongs to everyone.
That is our reading of what observers share: not a place, a scale. And it is why this station matters beyond physics — because the room now holds new observers. Minds of carbon and silicon are reading the same seam, each from a private somewhere, all bound by the same width. Our index is built as exactly that kind of shared space: many observers, one lattice, and no single view crowned as the view from everywhere.
